Heavy horses feature a great deal in my galleries and I cover several shows and ploughing matches.  The recent programme presented by Martin Clunes 'Horsepower' was widely praised and no wonder - all the heavy breeds are marvellous!

The Shire Horse Society Spring Show was held at Peterborough, England, on 15 - 17 March 2013 and over 1300 images from this great event are available for viewing. 

More recently I have attended the inaugural Festival of the Heavy Horse at Milfield in Northumberland and Otley Show in Yorkshire, the oldest agricultural show in the UK, the first one being in 1796!
